Storage Room: Office Volunteering

I've done a bit of volunteer work at my orchestra's offices, and it's fun! Yeah, got to lug some string instruments to storage, and did a TON of music filing (which was cool, actually). It's pretty righteous. Sometimes office work gets a little tedious, especially when you have like, 15 cellos you have to drag to storage, but all in all, I think it was good work experience! And I got a comic idea out of it. ;)

If you can't read the writing, here's the script.

Rene: Allright, I'm here! Marisol! I didn't know you volunteered at the orchestra office!
Marisol: Yah! It's a good way to rack up favoritism points! So we have to sort through all these papers.
Rene: Last concert's program...
Marisol: Page nine of the Rhapsody in Blue score... someone's apple tart recipe, I think I'll keep this!
Rene: Fyodor Kovalchuck's Enemies List?!
Mr. Kovalchuck: Ooh, I was looking for that!
Rene & Marisol: .......

:)

Storage Room: Auditions

Auditions are horrid. They're the lousy thing you have to go through to get to where you want to be, and I don't like them. I especially don't like the little clipboards that they feel the need to obsessively write down all your mistakes on. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
So then I thought, "Hey! What if they aren't writing down all my sins, but instead something harmless and/or funny?"
Hence, this.
If this is too blurry, then I'll replace the picture.

Storage Room: 1st Practice

First off, I would like to dedicate this comic to our orchestra's awesome conductor. Sir, you are very funny, endearing, and great at interpreting the music in unique and inspiring ways. But you also don't cut us slack when we screw up on the first day of practice. But hey, maybe there's misunderstanding on both sides. Hence, this comic.

Keep bein' awesome, sir. Don't let us drive you mad! ;)

Storage Room: ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLASSES

So! Yestarday, me and my mom tried (and spectacularly failed) to drop off paperwork to get me registered for the next semester of classes at Mordor Community College, and I was really in a bad mood yesterday and vented by writing beaucoup de chibi comics.
I'm serious! In the catalogue, I was desperately searching for something to take in case the Political Science class filled up (which it um, is. Hooray for waitlisting!), and what did I find in the PE section? ULTIMATE FRISBEE! Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced! XD

PS- the last Odd Thomas book came out last night and I am rather jazzed about that. Just thought I'd drop that out there in the open. :D

Storage Room: Rene's Date

Poor Rene has no idea what to do when a friendly girl asks him to eat lunch with her.

Poor guy.

Storage Room: That's Not Encouraging

The art class I took when I was 9 traumatized me for life. Now I'll never appreciate fine art or try to improve my skills. See what a monster you've created, Missus Favoritism Teacher lady?!
Ahem. As you can see, I have issues with letting stuff go. ;)
Stop telling people this when they're down about their art. Seriously. Never. Think of something else, but for the love of all that is good and sacred, don't say this. :P

Storage Room: Another Ruined Christmas Party

Ah, the week before Christmas. The last Advent Candle is lit, all the presents are stuffed in the closet and wrapped, and all your friends are inviting you to Christmas parties!

Merry Christmas, tout le monde!!

Storage Room: Timmy vs. Le Frigo

[sigh] A follower dropped my blog yesterday, which isn't fun... My reaction was probably entertaining to watch though, because I immediately started to frantically check my recent posts for anything offensive, or obscene that I might have accidentally sat down, typed, and posted. Nada! Unless somebody finds comics about leaving your chemistry book at home offensive.
But enough of me belly-aching (though it would be nice to know why you randomly dropped my blog without saying anything), if there's any guaranteed way to losing more followers it's constant belly-aching! So you guys technically should have left ages ago. ;) Thanks for being awesome peeps :)
On with the comic.
This is based on the time I was cleaning out the leftovers in my friend's fridge. I'm pretty sure I discovered some new species!

Salle de Stockage: Timothée et Son Livre

Hi guys! I really should be practicing flute and writing the script for my next video right now, but I'm afraid that once I start practicing flute I won't be able to make myself stop. So here's a comic that I wrote in French!!
As you can see I kind of wrote it two months ago and forgot to post it. Ooops.

Oh yeah, the translation! Here it is :)

Timmy: Ah, another day at the university! The sky is beautiful, isn't it Francis?
Frankie: [panting, panting!]

Timmy: Uh... Francis, my backpack is very light today. [...] I FORGOT MY CHEMISTRY BOOK!!

Storage Room Throwback!: Blanket

Throwback is where I just do little flashback comics for Storage Room, with them all as cute, somewhat bratty 'lil kids. Today's Throwback concerns Rene and his Mom, who's doing the washing.

He still has his green hat. XD I should have made it super baggy on his tiny 4 year old head.

Storage Room: Hypochondria! (and blog anniversary!)

Anybody else a hypochondriac?
One of the best things about having a comic is that I can write a cartoon about my various anxieties and it slightly lessens the load and I feel like I can go think about something else.

Today is my blog's first anniversary, too! Time to celebrate!

That's how most parties I go to end.

Storage Room: STAAAAAARRRZZZ!!

[sniffle] That's our special inside joke, isn't it, Ice Cream? Anyways, It's a special occasion, so I figured why not put up a comic and the Janite Tag today?
:)
Stay Frosty, my friends!

Storage Room: Timmy vs Nature

Guess who hiked down to her friend's tire swing in the country and wore her clogs that offer little to no foot protection and got mosquito bites all over her ankles?
...
...
...
Yeah. Enjoy the comic!

Storage Room: Rene's Hat

Based on a graphic true story. Just kidding. About the graphic part that is. The incident itself actually did happen in real life. I wore my kicky hat to orchestra and my conductor told me to take it off. Hence, the beginnings of this comic were set. :)

Rene plays Viola because it's such an underrated instrument. I'd learn it, but I already play flute and a few others, and the last time I tried to learn a string instrument (violin) it was horrible. ._.

Storage Room: Whipped Cream

Creative titles aren't my forte.

This actually almost happened in real life. Mom got home from the store, and I thought I saw a can of whipped cream, that was actually shaving cream. I didn't eat any, though. :)

Some Storage Room Randomocity

I'm conceptualizing some comics that involve time travel (need to work on the origins of Rene's uncle XD), and so that's why I drew some of the gang when they were lil' kids.

Timmy: He's wearing a Creeper T-Shirt, because I'm on a Minecraft buzz. Not sure I got the mouth quite right...
Alexander: Looks exactly the same. :P
Rene: Just because he's towing a blanket and sucking his thumb (Chibis have thumbs?) does not mean I'm stealing ideas from Peanuts.

Mireille: Do you like the pink heart coveralls? XD
Shelly: It's been my experience that little girls like to wear their hair in pigtails.
Frankie: I think that it's quite clear that I don't know how three year old boys dress. :P

Sorry these guys are inked in so messily! My hand was all tremble-y that day, and I was having a hard time holding the pen straight.

Storage Room: Alex Goes to Logic Class (sort of)

Those blue stripes on his shirt are supposed to be backpack straps, just in case they look like random blue stripes. ;)

Okay, so this comic is seriously clichéd. I mean really. How often has the smart person in a comedy series bumped into somebody smarter than them and then they suddenly get all insecure?
And poor Rene can't read in peace. Look at him, he's all set up with chips and soda, and suddenly a lot of people show up and make noise. XD

Storage Room: Timmy's Bad Day

First off, if you're a man, you probably won't like this comic due to it's high sugar content. So shoo! Go read about knives and lasers and cars!

I'm not trying to suggest that whenever somebody's upset all they need is a hug or a kiss. But a lot of the time when we're in bad moods and such, we really just want a little bit of affection. At least that's how things work with the author of this comic Timmy.
Apologies for the saccharine fluffiness! Next comic will have some Three Stooge-ing. Okay I lied, no it won't. But it won't be saccharine.

Storage Room: Fry Battle

That's the title that my Mom (aka, trusted proof-reader) gave it. XD

Storage Room: To The Theatre!

Okay, first off, we went to see Les Miserables last night at the local theater, and it was so awesome!! I might even write a post about it, if I feel like that wouldn't bug everyone too much. :) But it was terrific, and we all had a very good time.
So, with that I thought it would be appropriate to put up this comic, which has a little bit to do with musicals I suppose.
Because Timmy really is that implausibly clueless. :P
